The June wallpaper in .png format turned out a bit "girly"
I am afraid. I was inspired by the "Armeria maritima" flowers, which grows at the beach near our house.

A small "Angel frame" in .png format, for all those small angels out there....

These plain sequins are available in 12 colors in .png format. They are quite big, so you will probably have to resize them a bit.

A small frame in .png format made from knitted flowers.

I will be busy working every day next week, so I will not post any freebies during that time. Instead I finished some freebies and a small tutorial for you today. Hope you will enjoy.....

To use this .jpg overlay, you will need a program that support layers. Do like this:

1. Open the .jpg file

2. Add a new raster layer

3. Fill the new layer with your own color or pattern.

5. Change the layer blend mode on the top layer to "Multiply".

6. Merge all layers.

http://www.4shared.com/Folded_and_lined_overlay.html

If you don't have a program that supports layers, you can instead download a pack with 10 different colored papers here. It is a rather large file (22 MB), so it takes some time to download, I am afraid.

Credit: The note book paper is made by http://djsoundwav.deviantart.com/ There is lots of great textures, photos and brushes on the webpage http://www.deviantart.com/ too.

The inked edges were made by lots of different freebie brushes put together.

Below you can see the different layers:

You can use this .jpg file both as a normal paper, or as an overlay - like the overlay shown above. To the right the paper is used with a pink top layer. I have used a lot of different brushes to make these papers, so thanks a lot to all the talented brush designers out there. Download here: http://www.4shared.com/Old_paper_overlay.html
Tips:

It is very easy to make your own folded paper overlays. Do like this:

1. Take a piece of medium thick paper and fold it back and forward a few times. If you fold it back and forward several times, it will naturally look older and more worn.

2. Scan the paper, use grayscale and 600 dpi output.

3. Enhance contrast if necessary (in PSP you can use "Automatic contrast enhancement")

4. Cut and resize the paper to a 3600 x 3600 px square.

5. Increase the color depth to 16 mill. pixels.

6. Apply a new layer, fill it with your own color or pattern and use layer blend mode "multiply".

7. Add an inked edge overlay or some additional brushes, if you like. (I used a grungy lilac paper)

Download this folded paper overlay here, if you don't want to make your own paper. :-) (The inked edge is not included).

Twelve raffia ribbons in .png format in juicy summer colors. The file is pretty large, so I split it into two parts.

Tips: Looking for a nice free cross stitch font? Download here: http://www.1001fonts.com/font_details.html
Tips: If you want to use Photoshop .abr brushes in PSP, you must first convert them into .png files. The free program ABRviewer will do the trick, and it is very easy to use. Click on the green download link for the version you want (I recommend you grab the latest). A very good tutorial explaining how to use the ABRviewer can be found here.
I have tried to make this alpha in .png format look a bit old and rusty.

Donna, you asked about a pinwheel template, so here it is. The file is made in .psd format in order to get the shadows right, and the two top layers can be filled with your own color or pattern.

You can use these 4 cluster frames in .png format and paste different pictures into each frame, but they look nicer if you use only one picture as shown above. Download here: http://www.4shared.com/4_cluster_frames.html

Slightly worn and folded on the middle, this notebook paper comes in 6 pastel colors in .jpg format.

This frame looks like the plastic pockets used for photographs. The file is made in .psd format, so paste your photos into the two photo layers and then merge the visible layers. Before you merge the visible layers, you might have to adjust the opacity of the bottom plastic layer a bit up or down depending on which background you are using on your layout afterwards. The plastic
pocket should be visible but not too white. This file size is approx. 16MB, so it takes a bit of time to download.

July desktop wallpaper in .png format, 1024x768 pixel in size. Insert your own picture in the frame, save as .jpg file and use as wallpaper on your computer.  This notebook paper template with curled edge is made in .psd format. Paste your own color or pattern into the two paper layers. The top layer contains the shadow.

Did some cleaning up among my files and found these  zigzag- and blanket stitches in .png format.

Download the plain wood quick page here:

http://www.4shared.com/Plain_wood_frame.html

I have had so much fun making this "Wood quick page", so I decided to make some additional pages. It is the same page and frame, but I applied different layers of cracks or paint to make the wall behind the frame look worn.

Except for the first plain wood page, I have tried to keep the colors blue and green like the sea, so go ahead and  add your beach pictures, seashells, fishing lures and stuff.... I imagine this small wooden shed near the beach, with a tiny window and the paint worn and cracked by the wind ..... LOL!

The quick pages are made in .png format, 3600x3600 pixels in size, and they are approx. 16-25 MB each. So to avoid the file getting way too big by putting lots of frames into the same bag, I have split them up, and you can pick the pages) you like best. Click on the small thumbnails to download.

Thanks SO much for all the nice comments, e-mails and notes in my guestbook - I really enjoy reading all of them!

I have also seen quite a few of my freebies used in different kits, so thanks for the credit and links back to me, it is always appreciated.

Faith from http://scrapfiends.blogspot.com asked if I had a blinkie, so I just tried to whip one together last night, and here it goes. I am afraid that I am not really good at this, so bear with me. I will be back with a more cool looking blinkie later.... :-)

There are four different alligator clip wraps in .png format in this bag. The 4 files are shown as thumbnails below.

Tip: If you want to recolor the wire, just change the hue, and maybe turn the saturation a little bit down, and the clips will remain unchanged.

3 different "Scallop map papers" with staples in .png format. The maps are slightly folded, wrinkled or textured. Size approx. 3000x3000 pixels.

The files are pretty large, so I have split the file into 3  smaller files. Click on the thumbnails to download:

Thanks a lot to Kyra from http://smiekeltje.blogspot.com/ for this Blog Award.

Later the same week I received the same award from Sue from www.numbbumm.blogspot.com so thanks a lot to you too, it was a nice surprise.

I apparently now have to nominate 7 other blogs. But it is just impossible to chose from all those creative and amazing blogs out there, so I picked 7 places where I have been downloading amazing scrap booking goodies during the last few weeks. This Blog Award now belongs to you:

1. The winner can put the logo on her blog.
2. Link the person you received your award from.
3. Nominate at least 7 other blogs.
4. Put links of those blogs on yours.
5. Leave a message on the blogs of the girls you've nominated

I seldom have time for making LO's myself (and I am not really good at it either), so I just wanted to share a couple of LO's made with my freebies. These pretty LO's are made by Anja aka Tutti from Germany.
