So this week I have lots of freebies to share, a few on the old page and two brand new tape freebies on this new "Friday freebie" page.

And here to the left is the latest LO for my nephews new photo book. He is 7 months old now, and looks pretty cool wearing those adult sunglasses - LOL!

9 bottle caps in .png format in pastel colors. You can of course apply text or an image to the caps if you like.

Maybe you prefer a more neutral background, so I made this extra quick page for you too. Click here to download.

This postage stamp quick page is 3600x3600 pixels and .png format, and the colors are a bit "autumn-like". Credit: Vintage floral texture from http://cloaks.deviantart.com/

The quick pages above have a transparent window, where the photo should be, but actually I worked with a white stamp frame, and I thought that you would maybe like to have the original photo frame too.

Now you can of course just select the frame with your magic wand, and paste your photo into it. However, this will cause the holes to be a bit pixilated, and if you are a bit fussy like me - LOL - you don't want that to happen. In order to get everything perfect, you will have to use a mask layer like this (tutorial made for Paint Shop Pro 9.0):

1. Open the white photo frame

2. In the menu chose "Layer", "New mask layer", "From image", and make sure that "Source luminance" is ticked

3. Click "OK". If you look at your layers, you can see there is now two new layers (Group layer and Mask layer).

4. Select the bottom layer (Raster 1), click on the white photo mask with your magic wand tool. Keep the selection.

5. Open the photo you are going to use, copy (Ctrl + C) and paste the photo into the selection on your bottom layer.

6. Chose "Layers", "Merge" and "Merge visible". Now you can copy your photo and put it on your layout.

If you use Photoshop, go to this page for a tutorial:

I also made a new photo mask for you, you can see what it looks like above. And you use it just as I described above (tutorial is made for Paint Shop Pro 9.0):

1. Open the white photo mask

2. In the menu chose "Layer", "New mask layer", "From image", and make sure that "Source luminance" is ticked

3. Click "OK". If you look at your layers, you can see there is now two new layers (Group layer and Mask layer)

If you use Photoshop, go to this page for a great mask tutorial http://www.taylormade-designs.net

I am not very good at Photoshop, but I followed the tutorial and it worked out fine - LOL!

This week I got an award from Auri from:

Distinctively Auri and Distinctively Auri Scraps. Thank you very much Auri, I really appreciate that.

So bye for now, and please come back next week for more freebies...... :-)

This frame in .png format is available in 8 different versions, so you can use it both as a mask (as described above), or like a normal frame. The frame is also available in different colors and textures.

Just thought I would share another LO with my cute little nephew Martin.

I was inspired by the lovely paper from Timounette and tried to continue the style with some brush strokes and my own stamp frame (which BTW will be up for download next week - LOL). Can't remember where the (recolor) floral card came from, but if anyone knows please let med know, so I can give the proper credit. :-)

Thanks also for all the nice comments on 4shared.com, in my guestbook and on e-mail, I really appreciate that.

My husband took the picture below in the forest near our house. The other picture is from the island "Kjerringøy" in Norway.

Thought I would just share a few extra freebies this week.
Thanks again for all the kind words, I read and enjoy them all. In our guestbook someone wrote that "your stuff is the bomb" - and that really made med laugh. I hope it is a friendly and not too dangerous bomb .... :-)
I have seen a lot of circle string frames on different QP's lately. So here is yet another string, so you can give it a try too.... It is difficult to show the details here, as the frame is quite large.

So, this week it all turned out a bit girly! A quick page in .png format, size 3600x3600 pixels.

Now, maybe you like the torn paper circles on the QP to the left? Here is the good news - now you can make your own! There are 3 different paper templates in .png format in this bag. To use them, do like this:

1. Open the .png file
2. Select the paper template and keep the selection
3. Make a new raster layer
4. Paste your paper or color into the new top layer
5. Change layer blend mode on the top layer to "multiply"
6. Merge the visible layers

Tips: Use the torn paper circles and paste your photos into the top layer, it looks really cool too.
Another bag of torn circle paper templates. Use it as described above. If you use more than one circle in your LO, it will look better if the circles are different from another.

Whoa, I got another award - this time from http://mariscrap.over-blog.com/. Be sure to check out her blog, which contains lots of goodies! Thank you very much, that was a nice surprise.

So now I have to list 7 things that I love, and as "this is the season", here they are:

1) Celebrating Christmas with my husband and family
2) The first snowflake caught in my eyelashes
3) When one of my cats comes running into the house, all fluffy and cold,
jumps into my lap and puts his nose against mine to say "hello"
4) Dark winter afternoons with candles and chocolate
5) Making angels in the snow
6) A fire in the stove, a hot cup of tea and a good crime novel
7) Digital scrap booking (of course -  you knew that one!)

I also have to nominate 7 other blogs, so here are 7 creative blogs I have visited recently:

I also got another award from http://squeakyscraps.wordpress.com/ Thank you very
much, it is so nice to be appreciated. The rules for this award are that you have to

I can't believe it, but one year has passed since I posted my first freebie! More than 300.000 downloads has been registered at 4shared.com, so that is really amazing.

Thanks for all the kind words I have received from digi-scrappers worldwide, and thanks to IkeaGoddess and DSD for displaying my freebies. This has been quite an adventure for me,
and I have learned a lot during the last 12 months. Hopefully 2009 will be just as exiting,
and I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Gingerbread alpha in .png format, based on the free font "Joint by Pizzadude", contains capital letters and numbers. Now you can go ahead and add sprinkles, ribbons, spruce, glitter or whatever you wish for! Below are some examples just for inspiration.

http://www.4shared.com/Gingerbread_alpha.html
Tip: If you want the alpha without the icing, you can download it here

So since it is Christmas soon, I have an additional gift for you this week. This "Christmas cone template" is made in .psd format, so you can add your own color or pattern to the bottom layer. The string is not attached, but you can download it on my freebie page 2. The two colored cones are just shown to give you some inspiration. The cone to the left is made with paper, bow and wire from Weeds & Wildflowers kit from last Christmas. Download the cone template here: http://www.4shared.com/Christmas_cone_template.html
Red string heart in .png format. And because it is Christmas soon, there is a few small extra goodies in the bag too.....

http://www.4shared.com/Red_string_heart.html
Rusty chicken wire in .png format. In this bag there is both the rusty wire shown above, but also the original (larger size) chicken wire pattern itself. You can then recolor the original wire if you want to, and use it as a pattern in different sizes/colors depending on your layout.

http://www.4shared.com/Chicken_wire.html
I bought these worn metal snowflake tags for my Christmas parcels, and decided I could just as well scan them first, so you could use them too - LOL. So hope you like them, and Merry Christmas once again.....

The last of the "Stamp frames".

http://www.4shared.com/Stamp_frames_8.html
Small twill tags in .png and .psd format. I have just made a few examples, and included the empty tag (with or without drop shadow), so you can apply your own text. I have used the free font "Adler", which can be downloaded here

If you use the .psd files, just apply your own text on the top layer, and merge the visible layers.

If you use the .png files, apply a new layer for the text  using blend mode "multiply" and opacity 80%, write your text and merge the visible layers.

http://www.4shared.com/Small_twill_tags.html
I am not finished with the twill yet -  so here are some dirty little twill tags (12 different colors) in .png format.

I really didn't intend to post these glass beads, as they didn't turn out exactly the way I wanted them to - LOL. But I did some cleaning up on my computer, so here they are anyhow....
http://www.4shared.com/Dirty_twill_tags.html http://www.4shared.com/Glass_beads.html
I found a few more old freebies while cleaning up, so here are some neutral papers with a slight cardboard texture and a cluster frame made from old paper. I better post them now, as I intend to start a fresh new "Friday freebie page" next week.....
